Steve is an executive coach and an Associate with LCPI.  Steve’s coaching focuses on working with clients to enhance their leadership capability and results through a strong focus on goal-setting and accountability, effective communication, delegation, people development, influence network management, and innovative problem-solving.  He also works with senior leadership groups to develop shared visions and build high-impact teams, employing a combination of coaching, consulting, and training to deliver a solution to fit each client’s individual needs.

Professional Experience

Steve’s coaching clients include CEOs, executives and entrepreneurs who come from a variety of business settings and industries, including financial services, pharmaceuticals, professional services, consumer goods, and academia.  Clients come from organizations including: Morgan Stanley, Capgemini, Prudential, ExxonMobil, Novartis, and Roche, as well as a number of smaller companies and non-profit organizations. 

Steve brings 20 years of business experience to his work as a coach. He previously worked as a Senior Manager with Ernst & Young (E&Y) and later Capgemini in its Business Transformation Consulting practice, where he built an exemplary record of achievement working with Fortune 100 clients and their executives on issues including leadership development, business transformation, and driving sustainable change. While at Capgemini, Steve was also responsible for the people management area within his practice group and was responsible for coaching and mentoring several high-potential colleagues.  Prior to E&Y, he held corporate positions in market analysis, sales and strategic planning. 

Professional Development

Steve's business education (MBA in Business Administration from George Washington University and BA in Business from Rutgers University) is coupled with Leadership Coaching Certification from Georgetown University, the only university-based coaching program accredited by the International Coach Federation (ICF). He is an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) with the ICF. Steve is also certified to administer and interpret both The Leadership Circle 360 degree assessment and KTEP Team Effectiveness profiles.  Finally, Steve has also served several times as a coach in the Executive MBA programs of the Darden School at the University of Virginia and at Farleigh Dickinson University.
