Kathleen Redmond is a certified Executive coach, trainer, and author.  With over 25 years of management experience and a passion for leadership communication, Kathleen works in the heart of industry. Her work has taken her from Istanbul to Honolulu, to factories in the south of United States as well as the oil rush fields of Alberta. Her first book is Her first book, Rules of Engagement for Communicating at Work: 5 Strategies for Decreasing Conflict and Increasing Collaboration was published in 2004. Her second book, Leadership by Engagement was launched in September 2008.

Professional Experience

Facilitating training and coaching sessions in English and French, Kathleen has successfully worked with leaders in the following companies; Delta Hotels, Irving Pulp and Paper, General Motors, Ministry of Colleges and Universities, Coca Cola Enterprises, Royal Canadian Mint, Cara Operations Limited, North American Construction Group, Region of York, Community Living, North Bay and District Health Unit, Towns of Aurora, East Gwillimbury and Parry Sound.

Professional Development

Kathleen has an MA in Adult Education, served as a master trainer for Development Dimensions International, is certified to administer Myers-Briggs Type Indicator™, True Colors®, Bar-On EQ-i™ and Personality Dimensions™. She has completed mediation training through Osgoode Hall Law School.

There are two Assessments based on the core Strategies of her two books. Rules of Engagement Organizational Survey© and Leadership by Engagement 360 Degree Assessment© based on the Strategies for Engagement; Clarify the Culture, Know your Character, Respect Yourself and Others, Harness Conflict and Build Trust.
Participants routinely participate in a series of highly interactive training programs founded on the Strategies for Engagement.

Kathleen is currently President of the Canadian Association of Professional Speakers, Toronto Chapter.
