Josée is an executive coach, an organizational development consultant and a trainer. She has more than 25 years of experience in the business world and has worked with various functions and levels of management in diverse milieus from the plant shop floor to sales and customer service to accounting and engineering, to school boards, government agencies, hospital and up to executive board rooms. 

As an organizational development consultant and executive coach, Josée works with client organizations to support the integration of newly required competencies, behaviours and beliefs. Through executive and team development coaching, large scale intervention and training, she supports organizational leaders in the implementation of continuous and complex changes required in their unique business environments. Her areas of expertise include leadership development, performance management and enhancement, cultural transformation and change, team development, strategic planning and organizational learning.

Josée is known by her clients for her great capacity to create an environment of trust, for her executive presence, and ability to truly listen.  She excels at simplifying complex concepts and processes, and most importantly, has the capacity to guide leaders in a process that brings meaningful bottom line and breakthrough results.

Professional Experience

When she started her career, Josée worked as a specialist in labour relations and in human resource management in the manufacturing sector. In addition to being a manager herself, she has managed numerous situations involving multiple levels of management and employees allowing them to identify common interests in order to resolve complex problems and conflicts.  

As an external coach and consultant, Josée has facilitated transformation initiatives to bring about cultural change and empowerment across all levels of organizations, encompassing the executive and management groups and employees. These interventions include, amongst other activities, team building and leadership workshops; individual coaching and large scale change interventions. Josée has also co-led a project aimed at developing coaching skills and competencies in a large Canadian telecom organization and the design and customization of a coaching program for a large Canadian corporation. As a result of her experience, Josée has introduced leadership and coaching skills and competencies to more than hundreds of professionals, managers and executives across Canada and in Latin America, during the past decade.

With over hundreds of coaching hours experience, Josée has supported executives, managers, entrepreneurs and professionals as she helped them develop new skills and awareness to enhance professional and personal objectives such as, performance improvement of direct reports, building and empowering teams, change management, career change and personal and professional balance.

Her clients have included individuals and teams from a variety of organizations and industries including Amgen, Astra Zeneca, Johnson & Johnson, BMO, BDC, Cadbury Adams, Domtar, Gildan Activewear, Hydro Québec, Nissan Canada, Microcell (now Rogers Communications), and Readers’ Digest, as well as many federal, provincial and municipal agencies, school boards and health care organizations.

Professional Development

Josée holds a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Relations from the University of Montreal and a Master's degree in Organizational Development from the American University of Washington, DC.  She also holds a diploma in the business coaching program from the Corporate Coach University International (CCUI) and is a Certified Master Facilitator of Corporate Coach U’s Coaching Clinic program. Josée is qualified on a variety of assessments such as Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® (MBTI®), Personal Coaching Style Indicator®, Platinum Rule, the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL) 360o assessments suite (Benchmark, Skillscope, Executive Dimensions, etc.), the Conflict Dynamic Profile, the Cultural Transformation Tools®.  She is a member of the International Coach Federation (ICF) and is presently invested in a certification program as an executive coach.
