Professional Expertise

Cheryl is a Master Certified Coach (MCC) and an Associate at LCPI, a people focused company offering coaching services, leadership development and course design across North America and Europe. She devotes herself to leadership development, working for various corporate and government entities, and with all levels of staff. 

Her training and coaching programs consistently receive the highest praise from both corporate and individual clients. There are few in the coaching profession who match Cheryl’s experience and credentials. She has worked on five continents designing and leading programs to train individuals and leaders in organizations.  Cheryl’s areas of expertise include: Individual and group coaching; Leadership development; Managing a changing workplace; Group facilitation and strategic planning; and High performance team development.

Professional Experience

With over thirty years of frontline business experience, Cheryl focuses her talent and enthusiasm on assisting employees and employers develop their professional, interpersonal and leadership skills. Cheryl joined IBM (first in Australia and later in the U.K.) in the 1970's and quickly rose to become one of the company's top producers. She was twice a member of IBM's Golden Circle – which recognizes the top 2% of salespeople worldwide - selected for higher management training with IBM in the "President's Class", she established and later sold a company that specialized in computer-based instruments used in human resources management. Cheryl was the Western Canada Director for French software giant GSI who specialized in Human Resources Information Systems. Until recently she was the VP for Corporate Coach U International (CCUI) responsible for the team leadership of product sales, development, delivery and opening global markets.

Cheryl is an Associate Faculty member on Royal Roads University’s Master’s of Leadership graduate degree and the Executive Education programs and is a founding Faculty member of their Executive Coaching Certificate program. Her client experience includes public sector, non-profit and private sector organizations that range from medium to large in size and local to global in reach.

Cheryl is the co-author of the e-book Dynamic Coaching to Build Dynamic Teams and the coach training program Navigational Coaching- Strategic Coaching Skills for Corporate Leaders.

Professional Development

Cheryl has a Master’s degree in Leadership and Training and an undergraduate degree in communications. As a communications graduate, she has continued to develop her own professional expertise in areas ranging from Conflict Resolution to HR instruments and assessments. She is a graduate of Coach U and Corporate Coach U coach’s training programs, has the Master Certified Coach designation from the International Coach Federation (ICF), is a licensed facilitator and master trainer of The Coaching Clinic and is a licensed facilitator of The Legacy Leadership Institute. Cheryl is an examiner for the ICF’s credentialing body for coaches seeking their professional certification.
